Job summary

Adecco's client is seeking a Customs Compliance Supervisor to oversee customs compliance activities and ensure adherence to import/export regulations. This role plays a critical part in managing customs documentation, risk mitigation, internal audits, and training, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to support business operations while ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Job Responsibilities

Universal Accountabilities:

  • Lead customs compliance initiatives and ensure administrative requirements are met, especially for EPE operations.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on a deep understanding of customs regulations and EPE processes.
  • Ensure full compliance with customs requirements and internal customs-related processes.
  • Regularly report to management on potential risks relating to inventory balance and customs declarations.
  • Lead the implementation of trade compliance best practices across the organization.

Specific Accountabilities:

  • Generate, reconcile, and archive monthly customs reports; work with stakeholders to correct any discrepancies.
  • Publish quarterly reports following F15/F15a/F16 requirements and quantify inventory gaps in value terms.
  • Monitor regulatory updates, assess impact, and highlight potential risks for mitigation.
  • Conduct audits on customs-related processes and KPIs, providing improvement recommendations.
  • Support post-entry audits and ensure the accuracy of critical trade data.
  • Oversee import and export compliance programs and ensure policies are regularly updated.
  • Develop and deliver customs compliance training for key stakeholders.
  • Maintain robust record-keeping procedures to ensure compliance with local customs regulations.
  • Support self-declaration processes when necessary.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Experience requirements

  • Experience in using SAP system.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience at the same position
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable to work in a multi-national environment
  • English proficiency: Fluent


Education requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree of logistic, Supply chain, and related field.
