Job summary

Adecco's client - A global leading Food manufacturing comapy is seeking a Deputy Production Manager to lead and manage production teams, ensuring efficient manufacturing operations and high-quality product output in a world-class F&B manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, a commitment to continuous improvement, and a proven track record in managing large-scale production processes.

Job Responsibilities

Production Management: Plan, schedule, and oversee daily production activities to meet production targets, timelines, and quality standards.

Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor production staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and performance excellence.

Quality Control: Monitor and ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP, ISO).

Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and implement solutions to optimize production processes and reduce waste.

Health & Safety: Enforce workplace safety protocols and ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety regulations.

Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the production line, analyze data, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Maintenance, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain, to ensure seamless operations.

Reporting: Prepare and present regular production reports to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations.

Experience requirements

Experience: Minimum of 5 years in production supervision within the F&B manufacturing industry, including at least 2 years in a senior role.

Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage large teams in a high-pressure environment.

Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in production planning, equipment operation, and manufacturing systems.

Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and drive informed decisions.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and [local language, if applicable].

Adaptability: Ability to work flexible hours, including shifts, as needed in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Education requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
