Job summary
Adecco's client - a global healthcare manufacturer in the world is looking for an EHS & Facility Control Manager role to join the factory. This incumbent is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining effective Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs and managing facility operations to ensure compliance with global standards and local regulations. This role plays a critical part in maintaining a safe, compliant, and well-functioning workplace that supports high-performance manufacturing.
Job Responsibilities
EHS Management:
- Lead the development and enforcement of EHS policies, procedures, and programs in accordance with local laws and corporate standards.
- Monitor compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and other relevant certifications and standards.
- Conduct regular EHS audits, risk assessments, incident investigations, and implement corrective actions.
- Drive a proactive safety culture through training, awareness programs, and employee engagement.
- Manage waste handling, chemical safety, emergency response planning, and fire protection systems.
Facility Management:
- Oversee day-to-day facility operations including utilities (HVAC, compressed air, water treatment, etc.), building maintenance, and infrastructure reliability.
- Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for facility systems and equipment.
- Manage facility-related service providers and contractors, ensuring performance, compliance, and cost efficiency.
- Support space planning, renovations, and expansion projects in coordination with global teams.
- Ensure facility operations are compliant with GMP, safety, and environmental requirements for medical device manufacturing.
Experience requirements
- At least 7–10 years of experience in EHS and/or facility management, preferably in regulated industries (e.g., pharma, electronics, hi-tech, automotive, etc).
- Strong knowledge of Vietnamese EHS laws, fire protection regulations, and global compliance standards (e.g., ISO, OSHA).
- Experience managing facility systems, contractors, and utility services in a high-standard manufacturing environment.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in English and Vietnamese, both written and spoken.
Education requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
