Finance & Accounting Manager

Job summary

Our client, a global textile processing company, is looking for a Finance Manager base in Long An province.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely completion of month-end and year-end closings, including ledger reconciliation and financial reporting.
• Maintain the integrity of the accounting system while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and financial standards.
• Perform statutory Chief Accountant responsibilities, including reviewing and approving financial documents.
• Manage local tax obligations, such as customs filings, withholding tax, and tax finalization.
• Supervise key accounting functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and taxation.
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and cost control initiatives to support business objectives.
• Establish and enforce internal controls to protect company assets and ensure financial data accuracy.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance team to enhance their professional capabilities.
• Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Experience requirements

• Minimum 5 years in managerial role in Accounting and Finance, preferably in manufacturing
• Chief Accountant Certificate in compliance with Vietnamese regulations.
• Strong knowledge of accounting procedures with analytical abilities.
• Expertise in Vietnam tax law and compliance practices.
• Proficiency in both Vietnamese and English is mandatory.
• Proficiency in Chinese is advantageous and may enhance alignment with specific business needs and stakeholder communications
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is preferred
• Ability to work effectively with senior management in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

Education requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
