Finishing Expert

Job summary

Our client, a leading company specializing in high-end furniture product, is looking for a Finishing Expert to oversee their lacquer product category.

Job Responsibilities

• To work diligently with QCs in their respective assigned factories.
• Regularly update the daily report to superior for any immediate action.
• Conduct production meeting, if necessary, for production solution and share knowledge about finishing process improvement.
• Review and confirm All Step color panel at specific factory to meet intended company design.
• Review Pilot run product until finish. Provide support in solving any finishing issue. Consult vendor’s finishing management to avoid issues in Mass production.
• Follow Mass Production until finish and support in solving any finishing issue.
• Color mixing and checking with standard proper tools for mixing ratio and formulation.
• Support vendor’s technician in completing Standard Finishing Copy for production use.
• Periodically review and reconfirm the step color panel for production reference, especially for all best seller products.
• Other tasks assigned by direct report when necessary.

Experience requirements

• More than 10 years’ experience in in furniture industries with 5+ years’ specializing in creating color panel and developing new finishes.
• Experience in lacquer product is a plus.
• Good communication in basic English and Vietnamese.
• Remain proactive and interactive in achieving results through others.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Work independently, as well as, in team environment.
• Effective interpersonal communication skills.
• Problem solving skills.
• Effective multi-task management skills.
• Willing to learn new tools for color panel checking, master production standard and step color panel reference.
• Willing to travel and hand-on with production floor.
