General Accountant

Job summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented General Accountant to execute a variety of accounting and financial procedures, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, general ledger entries, forecasting and budgeting.

 

The responsibilities of the General Accountant include maintaining accounting records and reports, performing account reconciliations, assisting with budget and close processes, conducting internal audits, and maintaining accounts payable documentation, taxes related to company business activities, reports to related authorities.

 

Ultimately, you will play a key role in ensuring our financial operations run smoothly, while also helping us make sound business decisions based on financial analysis.

 

Job Responsibilities

Accounting and Financial task:

• Collect and manage accounting documents as per VAS, Tax and Customs regulations.
• Managing accounts payables and receivables.
• Recording by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information.
• Conducting detailed, month-end account reconciliations.
• Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
• Performing internal audits and assisting with external audits.
• Ensuring compliance with all internal processes.
• Identifying inefficiencies and improvement in the budget, and reporting on variances for each cost center.
• Assisting Chief accountant in the decision-making process by preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
• Booking JE related to Fixed assets, prepaid expenses, salary, SI, and UI…at month end.
• Recording and monitoring CIP in detail before transferring to Fixed assets.
• Processing all General Ledger, AP vouchers and Journal vouchers.
• Checking payment documents before giving them to Chief Accountant.
• Preparing for month-end closing.

Process Optimization & Reporting:

• Preparing financial statements, internal reports as requested.
• Prepare various tax declarations.
• Assist process quarterly and annual report audit items for the accountants.
• Preparing the statistical reports.
• Preparing loan report to submit to SBV.

Experience requirements

• Proven work experience as a General Accountant or similar role in manufactory.
• Good knowledge of accounting, financial processes, taxes policy.
• Understanding of data analysis and forecasting.
• Working knowledge of MS Office (especially excel) and accounting software (e.g. EPICOR, SAP, ERP).
• Well-organized with ability to prioritize.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• BSc/BA in accounting, finance or relevant field.
• Strong problem-solving, coordination and communication skills to work effectively with related departments of the company and authorities.
• Intermediate English Proficiency (written and spoken).
• Experience working with taxes, customs officers, external auditor.
• Able to start immediately is a plus
