Job summary

Our client are seeking a seasoned General Director to lead and oversee the comprehensive operations of a home furniture manufacturing company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the factory, sales, product development, and overall business strategy. This includes driving profitability, global sales growth, and operational excellence.

Job Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement the company’s strategic vision, goals, and business plans.
  • Drive growth initiatives to expand market share and strengthen global sales.
  • Oversee product development strategies to ensure alignment with market trends and customer needs.

Operations Management:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the factory, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and quality control.
  • Implement lean manufacturing practices to optimize costs and improve production cycles.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Sales and Marketing:

  • Lead and expand the global sales strategy to capture new markets and enhance customer relationships.
  • Work closely with the sales team to set and achieve revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with key clients and distributors.

Financial Management:

  • Manage the company’s P&L to ensure profitability and sustainable growth.
  • Monitor budgets, financial performance, and resource allocation to meet business objectives.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks while ensuring adherence to company policies.

Product Development:

  • Drive innovation by working with the R&D and product design teams to create market-leading products.
  • Oversee the lifecycle of new products from concept to market launch.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and consumer demands to guide product strategy.

Team Leadership:

  • Build and develop a high-performing leadership team across key business functions.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to ensure team alignment with company objectives.

Experience requirements


  • 10+ years of senior leadership experience in manufacturing, preferably in the furniture industry.
  • Proven experience in managing global sales and overseeing product development.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in managing P&L.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Education requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields; MBA is preferred.
