Adecco client is a newly setup manufacturer of mechanical precision products providing for consumer electronics industry.

Located in Northern Vietnam.


Job Responsibilities

As the General Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

Strategic leadership

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan that aligns with the company's overall objectives.
  • Fosters a culture of continuous improvement and fosters a team-centric, customer-driven operating environment that drives operational excellence

Operational Management:

  • Oversees all aspects of the plant's manufacturing operations, including production planning, scheduling, and quality control.
  • Manages direct reporting teams, including sales, finance, personnel administration, production supervisors, quality control inspectors, and maintenance technicians, providing effective leadership and guidance.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles and best practices to streamline operations, minimize waste, and optimize resource utilization
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and customers to foster collaboration and ensure a seamless supply chain
  • Establish good cooperative relations with major customers in the European and American markets, and participate in customer strategic cooperation meetings and business negotiations on behalf of the company
  • Tracks and analyzes key performance indicators to measure progress toward operational goals

Quality Assurance:

  • Establish and enforce stringent quality control procedures to ensure the production of high-quality electronics products.
  • Oversee quality assurance activities, including product testing, defect analysis, and corrective action implementation
  • Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements to guarantee product safety and reliability.

Cost Optimization:

  • Identify and implement cost-reduction initiatives to improve profitability and enhance financial performance.
  • Negotiate favorable terms with suppliers and vendors to optimize procurement costs
  • Continuously monitor production costs and identify areas for process improvement and resource allocation

Technical Expertise:

  • Possess a thorough understanding of electronics manufacturing processes, including assembly, testing, and troubleshooting
  • Stay up to date with industry advancements in electronics technology and manufacturing practices
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure product manufacturability and adherence to quality standards

Safety and Environment:

  • Implement and enforce comprehensive safety protocols to protect employees and prevent workplace accidents
  • Adhere to environmental regulations and minimize the facility's ecological footprint o Promote sustainable manufacturing practices to reduce waste, conserve energy, and minimize environmental impact 


Experience requirements

❖ Education

Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Business Administration/Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical or related fields


❖ Experience

  • More than 15 years of production management experience in manufacturing enterprises, more than 5-7 years of director/vice president with comprehensive management experience
  • Experience of having business relationship with the world top-tier customers/ brands.
  • Experience in mechanical precision companies with familiarity in injection molding, metal stamping, surface treatment processing, etc.

  • Strong communication, coaching and control skills.
  • Good decision-making, planning, organization, coordination and execution skills
  • Language ability: Chinese proficiency, English /Vietnamese preferred
