Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure operational adherence to all legal, environmental, safety, and corporate guidelines, including internal protocols like 5S and sustainability practices.
  • Coordinate and lead internal and external audit preparations, ensuring the facility meets certification and compliance requirements.
  • Oversee and maintain security protocols across the production site to ensure a safe and monitored environment.
  • Standardize and continuously review manufacturing procedures to align with best practices.
  • Drive and manage improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing compliance performance throughout the production facility.
  • Plan, execute, and track compliance training sessions for all team members, ensuring consistent awareness and understanding of standards.
  • Take a proactive role in identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the site’s long-term compliance roadmap.
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of safety regulations, environmental laws, and relevant compliance frameworks.
  • Act as the main point of contact for local regulatory bodies on safety and hygiene matters and ensure accurate reporting as required.
  • Organize and monitor regular safety inspections in alignment with both local and global requirements.
  • Keep compliance records and databases current, particularly those involving corrective and preventive action tracking.
  • Support additional compliance-related tasks or projects as assigned by leadership.

Experience requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, Occupational Safety or a related technical field.
  • In-depth understanding of Vietnam’s EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) laws and industry-specific compliance standards.
  • Possesses at least 5 years of proven experience in managing HSE systems within a manufacturing setting.
  • Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different departments and seniority levels.
  • Highly process-driven, with a strong commitment to regulatory and ethical compliance.
  • Proficient in English, both spoken and written, for daily business communication and documentation.

Education requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, Occupational Safety or a related technical field.
