Job Responsibilities
- Compliance - Create and oversee the Company's compliance initiatives:
- Ensure adherence to the requirements and obligations outlined in pertinent agreements, certifications, and permits (such as the Investment Agreement, IRC, ERC, etc.).
- Mitigate all legal risks.
- Facilitate effective resolution of disputes.
- Legal Affairs
- Oversee the entire contracting process and the drafting of legal documents (including drafting, negotiation, and review).
- Investigate legal issues connected to the Company's operations and business development efforts (such as greenfield projects, joint ventures, mergers, and acquisitions).
- Offer legal advice to help the Company foresee and avoid potential legal challenges.
- Ensure that business plans, policies, and procedures are compliant, regularly reviewing publicly shared information.
- Corporate/Extended Affairs:
- Manage the IRC application for new phases, necessary amendments to ERC, and the acquisition of any new or additional permits/certifications.
- Engage in legal proceedings, liaise with regulatory agencies, and hire/manage external legal counsel as needed.
- Establish connections with relevant government entities to stay updated on legal changes and advocate for the Company's interests.
- Oversee the safeguarding and enforcement of intellectual property rights, including copyrights and patents.
- Organization:
- Build the organizational structure and recruit team members.
- Lead and mentor junior staff.
Experience requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in legal practice at reputable law firms or as a Corporate Lawyer.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Vietnamese laws related to corporate affairs, investment, commercial activities, labor, construction, real estate, environmental issues, mergers and acquisitions, and dispute resolution.
- Language Skills: Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
- Skills:
- Strong research abilities, logical reasoning, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Self-motivated, responsible, reliable, and dedicated.
- Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively under pressure.

Education requirements
- Bachelor or higher degree in Law; a lawyer-practicing certificate is an advantage.
