Job summary

Our client working in Oil and Gas Industry is looking for a Senior Shell AMS Engineer to join their team.

Job Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop and implement the AMS project.
  • Manage the project to meet safety, quality, time requirements.
  • Monitor project progress and set deadlines.
  • Solve issues what happened in the project.
  • Ensure stakeholder satisfaction with the project.
  • Evaluate project performance.
  • Work with team members and other Divisions/Departments PICs for planning, developing and executing the project.
  • Assist other team members of the project.
  • Budget management…
  • To achieve the followings through the above responsibility:
    • Improve divisional alignment and collaboration throughout NSRP refinery.
    • Improve current systems and standards by aligning them with international best practices using the Shell AMS.
    • Maintain safe and stable operation.
    • Keep required quality of product.
    • Plant productivity improvement.


Experience requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience in Project Management and Engineering in Refineries and Petrochemical plants.
  • Experience in Asset Management System (AMS) and knowledge about technical standards includes design and engineering practices.

Skills:

  • Development and management of engineering project plans.
  • Organizing, attending and participating in meeting.
  • Planning.
  • Follow-up of project tasks and actions.
  • Coordination with other divisions / departments and technical support of project.
  • Ensure achieving aim of project and project schedule. 
  • Build project management capability within council by collaborating with other members.
  • Experience and knowledge about engineering, maintenance, mechanical, pressure equipment, material, welding in refining, and petrochemical plants.
  • Familiar with engineering project specifications, technical standards, procedures, government regulations related to mechanic, piping, material, welding, inspection.
  • Specialized skills in including working knowledge of Shell DEPs, Shell AMS (or other similar end user systems) and international codes and standards API, ASME, EEMUA, NORSOK, DNV, ASTM, NACE, AWS.
  • Reviewing and comprehensive drawing, document, inspection and test procedure.
  • Knowing and implementation Quality Assurance Systems.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, presentation, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency English skills in speaking, writing, reading and listening. IELTS 6.0 or equivalent.


Education requirements

  • A Bachelor´s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Project Management Certification/ MBA (preferred).
