Job summary

A leading manufacturing and trading company is looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to lead and optimize its import-export operations. You will oversee all logistics activities, including customs clearance, transportation, and warehouse coordination, ensuring efficient, compliant, and cost-effective processes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all import and export operations, including customs clearance, document preparation, and compliance with regulations.
  • Strategically plan and oversee logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer service functions.
  • Monitor and manage the import of raw materials (e.g., glass, aluminum, accessories) to support factory production schedules.
  • Review and finalize all import-export documentation (contracts, invoices, packing lists, CO, CQ, customs declarations, waybills).
  • Collaborate closely with Purchasing, Production, and Warehouse departments to ensure accurate and timely shipments.
  • Work directly with customs authorities, shipping companies, forwarders, and agents to handle procedures and resolve any complaints.
  • Optimize logistics processes and costs, and propose continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all new regulations and update internal processes accordingly.
  • Manage logistics data systems and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Train and guide team members on document preparation and legal updates related to import-export operations.

Experience requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar logistics or supply chain management role.
  • Strong understanding of import-export operations, international shipping, Incoterms, and customs procedures.
  • Excellent logical thinking, data analysis, and cost management skills.
  • Proficient in logistics-related software and MS Office tools.
  • Highly responsible, honest, and capable of working under pressure in a manufacturing and export environment.
  • Strong communication and internal coordination skills, able to proactively collaborate with related departments to ensure smooth operations.

Education requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in International Trade, Foreign Economics, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or related fields.
