Job Responsibilities

• Bilingual – able to speak Vietnamese, English and limited Chinese.
• Act as full-time on-site (ETEL in Bac Ninh area) representative for the company, ensuring oversight of NPI-MFG-Test processes activities and deliverables in support of products transfer plus NPI products.
• Process audit, action item follow-up, and open issues resolution tracking.
• Work with contract manufacturer team members to ensure timely and successful NPI progression, including training related to customer-specific products, test, APQP/PPAP.
• Initiate the cost reduction program for assembly, test methods, and product design improvements with CM and NPI/Test Engineering team(s).
• Coordinate DFM/DFA review process of new product introduction with NPI team. 
• Support production problems and monitor manufacturing process.
• Provide the manufacturing engineering support for solving process/tooling/product quality problems at CM and 2nd-tier suppliers.
• Perform Line and Production Readiness: tooling readiness, tester readiness, assembly process readiness and optimization, FAI Process/Line Start Procedure, Training, Cycle Time, Capacity Plan (Ramp Plan), Data Analysis, Improvement Plan, etc.
• Relevant technical degree – BS ME, EE, IE, or equivalent experience.

Experience requirements

• 5 - 7+ years' experience in Manufacturing/Quality Engineering role, specific to electronics manufacturing.
• Detailed understanding of manufacturing processes for PCBA/box build/test/pack out.
• Process control knowledge with statistical analysis skills.
• Understanding and experience with APQP/PPAP and associated requirements under IATF16949.
• Good verbal/written communication skills.
• Significant experience with SMT process, tooling, and related inspection methods (SPI, AXI, SPC, etc.)
• Direct experience with executing MSA and Gage R&R.
• Must be current citizen/legal resident of Vietnam, residing in Bac Ninh area.
