Medical Device Product Specialist

Job summary

Our client is a multinational company is looking for a Medical Device Product Specialist in Hanoi.

Job Responsibilities

This position will oversee the Product and Application activities for the refractive segment within the ophthalmic unit; managing product and application tasks, regularly visiting existing and potential customers in the region, delivering product presentations and clinical training, fostering strong relationships with business partners and dealers, and executing promotional activities such as trade shows, exhibitions, and seminars to grow the business in North region. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Conducting clinical application training for refractive surgeons/customers at training centers or customer sites
• Focusing on clinical applications, education, and enhancing customer workflows
• Developing, maintaining, and delivering application-focused training on equipment and accessories
• Using product and clinical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues when needed
• Staying informed about competitive products and market trends
• Presenting products and solutions to customers
• Providing product training for the sales team
• Managing key accounts and building Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) for the business in the region
• Supporting the preparation of bids for major tenders and projects within your territory
• Assisting sales team members with technical matters, such as log files and case records
• Leading or participating in ad-hoc projects as required

Experience requirements

• 3 - 5 years’ experience in product and application in medical device industry
• Knowledge of the medical ophthalmology industry is a priority
• Experienced in OR working with doctors/surgeons
• Strong analytical skills are necessary to evaluate market trends, customer feedback, and other data to make informed decisions about product development and marketing
• A proactive individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• A collaborative team player with excellent leadership abilities
• Demonstrates accountability and a strong work ethic
• Highly customer-focused with exceptional presentation skills
• Proficient in both spoken and written English

Education requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical, Biological, Medical, Pharma, or related fields
