Merchandiser Manager

Job summary

Our client, a leading global manufacturer of outdoor clothing, is looking for a talented Merchandiser Manager.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise all merchandising activities, acting as the key point of contact between internal teams, suppliers, and buyers.
• Track development timelines and secure necessary approvals for samples before mass production.
• Collaborate with the Purchasing team to secure materials within required timelines.
• Oversee production schedules, ensuring on-time production and quality standards.
• Monitor and minimize material waste to optimize costs.
• Lead initiatives to improve cost efficiency across operations.

Experience requirements

• Experience in merchandising, sourcing, or product development within the handbag and backpack industry.
• Strong English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking, and listening).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Email) and basic image resolution software.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop a team.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of handling fast-paced work environments.
