Merchandising Manager

Job summary

Our client, a global trading business specializing in housewares, kitchenware, baby/juvenile, fitness, electronics..., is looking for Merchandising Manager to manage their Merchandising team in Vietnam office.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage Merchandising team to capture new projects from current and prospective customers
• Ensures company customer promise of quality and deliver are kept.
• Ability to take initiative, ownership and accountability for the business
• Team oriented with ability to multi-task, experience with training and improving management systems
• Actively pursues business development activities for the company
• Manage project execution activities for new product development effectively.
• Enforce correct business practices and adherence to procedures within team.
• Develop team members, providing daily training.

Experience requirements

• 8+ years working experience in project management or sourcing/merchandising for assorted consumer products with min 5 years at leadership role.
• Proven track record in project management.
• Expertise in product and new supplier sourcing.
• Excellent communication ability in English. Mandarin is a plus.
• Developed ability to resolve conflicts. 
• Self-motivated & willing to work under pressure, good team player.
• Aggressive / responsible/ independent.

Education requirements

• University degree, preferably in business administration, mechanical engineering, electronics, international trade or other relevant discipline.
