Mold Design Engineer (Senior)

Job summary

Adecco's client - a global industrial product manufacturer is looking for a Mold/Mechanical Design Engineer (Senior) to join its new engineering team in Vietnam.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and develop 2D/3D models of compression molds using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo).
• Work closely with the tooling, production, and R&D teams to ensure mold designs meet performance, cost, and timeline requirements.
• Conduct feasibility studies, tolerance analysis, and material selection for new designs.
• Support prototyping, mold testing, and validation processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to mold performance or design flaws.
• Continuously improve existing mold designs for efficiency, durability, and manufacturability.

Experience requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in mold design, with a strong focus on compression molding.
• Proficient in CAD software and mold simulation tools.
• Good understanding of mold manufacturing processes and materials.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• English proficiency is required; experience in international manufacturing is a plus.

Education requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
