Job Responsibilities

Company Coordination & Strategic Support

  • Facilitate coordination between management and departments to achieve both short-term and long-term strategic objectives.
  • Assist in developing company strategies from commercial, financial, and technical perspectives, preparing high-quality presentation materials for Sponsors and Lenders.
  • Support the preparation and development of the company’s 3-year, 5-year, annual, and quarterly business plans as per managerial instructions.

Project & Operational Support

  • Oversee the commercial aspects of projects, ensuring efficient production schedules and maximum operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the site management team to consolidate site plans, secure special use permits, and develop strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with the Coal Logistics and Coal Handling teams to develop annual coal import plans, ensuring adequate stock levels while preventing over-importation through simulations.

Financial & Risk Management

  • Monitor the company’s financial status and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure seamless business continuity and mitigate supply chain risks.
  • Oversee billing matters, optimizing resource utilization for improved efficiency.

Planning & Policy Implementation

  • Assist the Planning Officer/Manager in managing department-related projects and coordinating with relevant teams.
  • Recommend business policies aligned with operational and strategic requirements.
  • Ensure optimal performance within budget constraints while maintaining compliance with required standards.
  • Enhance planning team structure and organization to strengthen competitive advantage.

Reporting & Administrative Support

  • Prepare daily reports, bulletins, draft letters, and memorandums for internal and external reviews.
  • Submit comprehensive reports and support documentation as required.
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis based on business needs.

Stakeholder Coordination & Dispute Resolution

  • Collaborate with various entities to facilitate dispute resolution.
  • Manage and oversee general planning issues for departments or projects.

Experience requirements

  • 1 to 3 years’ proven development, planning and management experience in power project sector.
  • Extensive experience of the planning process from preparation and submission to consent and appeal.
  • Evidence of previous report writing and making recommendations on major planning applications.
  • Analytical track record for using and translating data for proposal planning purposes.
  • Experienced in planning strategies and company operation management.
  • Project management know-how.
  • Experience in working with international partners and especially government entities

Education requirements

BA in Business Administration or relevant. MBA is an advantage.
