Job summary
Our client is global textile manufacturer.
Job Responsibilities
- Participate in quarterly capacity assessment and planning, develop demand plans for batch production, and monitor execution progress.
- Serve as a key coordinator between upstream and downstream production processes, ensuring alignment with the core production plan.
- Prepare monthly, weekly, and daily production schedules, and adjust plans based on actual production changes such as order transfers, additions, or reallocation.
- Support the master planning process, compile regular production reports (weekly/monthly), and provide data for internal reviews and inspections.
- Follow up on material readiness to ensure that the master production plan aligns with delivery schedules and customer requirements.
- Prepare production schedules for outsourced processes, based on the sales department’s delivery commitments.
- Develop demand arrival plans for outsourced production stages based on delivery timelines and production needs.
- Consolidate and analyze production execution data, and collaborate with relevant departments to communicate findings and ensure alignment.
Experience requirements
- Education: High school diploma or above.
- Experience:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in production planning within the garment/textile industry.
- Strong understanding of garment design, development, and production processes.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in PMC (Production & Material Control) principles.
- Skilled in using planning tools and methods to manage production and material plans.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Soft Skills:
- Strong logical thinking and risk awareness.
- Excellent planning, organization, and communication skills.
- High adaptability and ability to collaborate across departments.
- Strong data analysis skills and attention to detail.
