Job summary
Our client is a global company specialized in garment manufacturing for safety solutions.
Job Responsibilities
1. Process Development
- Collaborate with production to establish new processes aligned with LEAN principles.
- Develop, verify, and validate products from process development to commercialization.
- Work closely with Production, Maintenance, and Automation Engineers to enhance tools and equipment.
- Ensure design guides, templates, and platforms are updated to incorporate new methods and process improvements.
- Optimize and validate dipping/compounding processes to ensure high efficiency.
- Drive First Pass Yield (FPY) / Rolled Throughput Yield (RTY) and minimize variances in the dipping process.
- Provide technical support to Sourcing and Quality Assurance (QA) teams.
2. Manufacturing Support
- Develop and implement documentation to align with production requirements.
- Create Standard Work guidelines for production operations.
- Support process changes and improvements.
- Assist in supplier coordination for technical issue resolution.
3. Other Responsibilities
- Participate in safety, fire prevention, health programs, team-building activities, and audits.
- Support special projects as required.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce costs, and improve performance.
- Evaluate and determine process capability for all developed processes.
Experience requirements
Language Skills:
- Proficiency in local language + English.
Job Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in production management.
- Preferably experienced in Textile, Garments, or Glove Manufacturing.
- Familiarity with ERP D365 or SAP is an advantage.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
- Good English communication skills (spoken & written).
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
Education requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemical Engineering
