Job summary
An excellent Procurement Specialist job based in Ho Chi Minh City has just arisen at one of the world's leading Technology companies.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop category plan and partner with the business stakeholders to understand sourcing needs;
- Establish and drive cost saving targets;
- Analyze demand & highlight market trends to management for action to be taken through effective sourcing plans;
- Provide optimum sourcing strategy to deliver the most valuable and righteous goods and services and beyond the corporate standards;
- Act as Procurement Business Partner to support business in awareness and compliance to procurement policies and procedures, third party risk governance;
- Identify new vendors where necessary and determine the optimal set of providers for goods and services
- Manage daily operations related to in-charged categories, system process, document retention and procure-to-pay issues.
- Perform other tasks as appropriate within competence as assigned by Line Manager/ Head of Procurement or Company’s management.
Job Accountability
- Achieve the set objectives, esp. in cost efficiency and value added to business;
- Develop and implement category management, focusing on Promotional items (internal & external recipients) and IT hardware purchase, IT maintenance service nationwide;
- Create, deal, proceed and manage contracts (including SPE and offboarding) with the suppliers in the best value for company;
- Ensure all the works are strictly complied with Company’s procedures & regulation;
- Support Business users to conduct third-party risk assessment for purchases & perform risk assessment from Procurement side.
Experience requirements
a. Knowledge:
- Procurement and Supply chain with best practices and worldwide standards.
- Broad and deep technical knowledge of commodity and product including specification, market trends and supply base, especially for Promotional items and IT hardware.
- Advantage: Degree in supply chain management / International certification of procurement / supply chain.
b. Experiences:
- Mandatory: 1-2 years of experience in Procurement
- Advantage:
- Solid background in financial industry / in MNCs
- Experience of Procurement systems, especially global platforms like SAP, Oracle, Coupa.
c. Skill set:
Mandatory:
- High integrity, ability to lead self and stakeholders, esp. in development of purchasing skills and specific commodity knowledge.
- Communication skills – excellent verbal, written and oral capabilities to deal independently with internal customers and external parties.
- Interpersonal skills – ability to build effective organizational relationships inside and outside the department,
- Good understanding of procurement tools & processes
- Knowledge of economics, law, supply chain, procurement, logistics, finance, insurance, etc.
- Understanding of ESG.
- Fluency in English, especially speaking and business writing. Experience to work with foreign third party.
- Good computer skills and proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, etc.

Education requirements
