Project Manager (Furniture)

Job summary

Our client — a leading player in the Furniture/Sofa Manufacturing — is currently seeking a Project Manager to join their team.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead new product initiatives from concept through launch.
• Build and manage comprehensive project plans with clear milestones and deliverables.
• Track project performance and escalate risks or roadblocks.
• Present progress updates to stakeholders and leadership via dashboards and reports.
• Partner with sourcing teams and suppliers to identify new components and design enhancements.
• Conduct competitor analysis and market research to guide innovation strategies.
• Apply knowledge of furniture engineering, assembly, and upholstery techniques.
• Ensure products meet internal manufacturing capabilities and external compliance standards.
• Align plans across design, engineering, manufacturing, marketing, and sales.
• Lead regular meetings to drive collaboration and problem resolution.
• Create a feedback loop to refine NPI processes.

Experience requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience, including at least 2 years in NPI, product development, or project management (preferably in furniture or related manufacturing).
• Demonstrated success in launching new products from concept to market.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Effective communicator and stakeholder manager.
• Skilled in project management tools and methodologies.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
