Job Responsibilities

·        Manage all activities within Purchasing Dept.

o  Apply E-tender on choosing supplier

o  Review Purchasing Procedure on yearly basis

o  Portfolio yearly review to ensure alternative source and having contingency plan.

o  Take care of purchase requirements of MRO/CAPEX category (specially on Plaster board, T-bar and cement board…)

o  Manage effectively purchasing process of MRO/CAPEX category from request to delivery and payment as per procedure

o  Set up (and /or give reference) for budget of MRO/CAPEX’s items/ products and have plan/system to monitor and follow up at least quarterly

o  Conduct and guide the team to follow up with request from end-users, elaborate spec, sourcing suitable suppliers, collect quotations/ proceed tender, do the analysis and price comparison to finalize the most suitable supplier.

o  Proceed POs and/or contracts, till deliveries and payments

o  Solve related complaints till final result

o  Annually evaluate performance of regular suppliers and have action plan to improve whenever applicable.

o  Apply Purchasing Business partner for All Bus.

o  Centric professional Purchasing function committed to Responsible Purchasing recognized as key for SG competitiveness World Class Purchasing (WCP)…and innovation

o  Be a solution provider rather than buyer

o  Negotiate contract terms, using TCO tool to breakdown cost. Understand commercial terms in Viet Nam

o  Lead and coach team to be professional. Understand SGB procedure and risk mitigation on purchasing daily activities

o  Develop team member be a good purchaser (work smart than work hard)

o  Set up KIP to team.

o  Solving project with plant team (Having new idea, new supplier, good solution for urgent case….)

o  Set up Min/max stock/ Aging report

·        Cost savings

o  Find the most possible ways to obtain cost-saving as per department and categories’ targets.

o  Coach team members to deliver expected result with monthly tracking progress

·        Compliance

o  Understand and respect all safety requirements

o  Understand and deploy ICRF as per Group and Companies requirements

o  Complete all assigned trainings of Saint-Gobain Group

·        Reports

o  Complete assigned reports and send them on time as per requests

·        E-tools execution

o  Deploy all requested e-tools of Saint-Gobain Group, ensure all team members understand and apply in daily activities

o  Set up target and have monthly progress follow-up

·        Leadership/Collaboration

o  Deliver strong leadership skills in coaching and training for team members to achieve required performance

o  Have good collaboration with team members and other departments in order to deliver the best results of assigned jobs/ projects

·        Other tasks assigned by Line Manager

Experience requirements

·        Experience:

o  At least 6 years of working experience in similar position in and

o  MNC organizations or other heavy industry companies.

o  Good at leadership skills

o  Good at problem solving and negotiation

·        Communication & Presentation skill: Good at communication skills with various types of audience in both Vietnamese and English

·        Computer Microsoft office skill: Good at Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are required.

·        Language skill: Good at speaking and writing in both Vietnamese & English
