Job summary

Adecco's client - A global leading Packaging manufacturer is seeking for talented Purchasing Manager.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services.
• Manage the purchasing team, providing guidance, training, and support.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term partnerships.
• Monitor and analyze market trends to make informed purchasing decisions.
• Oversee the purchasing process, including order placement, tracking, and delivery to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Collaborate with production, quality control, and R&D teams to ensure materials meet required specifications and standards.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable supply chains.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the inventory management team to optimize stock levels and reduce excess inventory.
• Prepare and manage the purchasing budget, ensuring cost control and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Address and resolve any issues related to procurement, including supplier disputes and quality concerns.

Experience requirements

• Proven experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably in the packaging or manufacturing industry.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using procurement software and tools.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

Education requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
