QA-QC Assistance Manager, Baking

Job summary

Adecco's client - A region leading flour manufacturer is seeking for talented QA QC Assistant Manager (Baking).

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing QA/QC policies and procedures to ensure product quality and safety.
• Oversee daily QA/QC activities related to baking, including testing, inspections, and audits.
• Conduct and supervise quality tests on flour and baking products to ensure they meet industry standards and customer specifications.
• Analyze test results and prepare detailed reports on product quality and performance.
• Collaborate with production, R&D, and procurement teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and quality standards such as HACCP, GMP, and ISO.
• Manage and train QA/QC team members, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
• Monitor and analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of QA/QC activities, including test results, audits, and inspections.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in quality assurance, baking technologies, and industry regulations.
• Assist in the development of new baking products and formulations, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards.

Experience requirements

• Proven experience in a QA/QC role, specifically in the baking or flour manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Experience with quality management systems and standards such as HACCP, GMP, and ISO.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using QA/QC software and tools.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

Education requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field.
