Job summary

Our client is a global leader in testing, inspection, and certification (TIC) services.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee quality control throughout all stages: raw material, in-line production, and final shipment—based on strict, detailed internal inspection standards.
• Follow and apply precise standard operating procedures (SOPs) daily, ensuring consistency and accuracy in every task.
• Prepare comprehensive inspection reports independently using a laptop and digital tools.
• Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients, factory staff (including senior leadership), and internal team members.

Experience requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in the leather or footwear sector, with proven hands-on expertise in:
• Conducting physical property testing specific to leather materials.
• Validating leather measurement and dimensions per order specs.
• Differentiating and classifying color shades within production lots.
• Establishing acceptable color ranges and managing shade variations.
• Identifying natural defects unique to various leather types.
• Applying the “clean area” method in leather grading.
• Performing full-scope inspections of leather articles.
• Understanding various leather tanning and finishing techniques.
