Job Responsibilities

  • Arrange and plan the weekly inspection schedule to align with ship dates.
  • In coordination with the factories conducts inline and final inspections according to the inspection SOP and regularly walk the production line.
  • Create and distribute formal inspection reports according to the inspection SOP.
  • Monitor factories performance to ensure quality expectations are met.
  • Monitor production procedure/timing and alert supervisor if production is facing delay issues.
  • Provide training and support to the factory as needed to maintain appropriate quality standards.
  • Elevate significant quality issues to direct manager.
  • Conduct inspection analysis to identify trending defects and discuss with direct manager to identify solutions for improvement, working with factory to problem solve and develop corrective actions. Monitor all factories to ensure any subcontracting is elevate to and meets company’s policy.
  • Elevate to manager anticipated delays due to inspection performance or other observations.
  • Assist with the onboarding and training of all new factories.
  • Collaborate with U.S. cross functional team members for resolving quality issues or other challenges. Establish professional relationship with suppliers.
  • Thorough understanding of the product manufacturing process for baby socks, and accessories, such as shoes, backpacks, cut and sew products.
  • Understanding about production, supply chain, purchasing and quality control.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills, ready to make decision and responsible for your decisions.
  • Strong product and manufacturing quality background.
  • Knowledge of vendor/mill operations, product construction, and fabric/materials.
  • Must possess strong leadership, negotiation, and technical skills.
  • Experience developing and leveraging strategic business relationships with vendors/suppliers.

Experience requirements

  • At least 3 years of quality experience, preferably in textiles or children’s products.
  • Experience working in the third-party company is preferred.
