Job summary
Adecco's client - a newly setup company is actively looking for a Quality Manager to join their factory based around Ho Chi Minh city and shall report to an expat based in Vietnam
Job Responsibilities
- Creating, supervising, and maintaining QM policies and procedures by ISO 9001 & 14001 standard requirements.
- Monitoring all quality related activities.
- Monitoring all actions to ensure compliance with Quality and Environment regulations, monitors risk and contributes suggestions to Board of Directors for risk mitigation.
- Managing the implementation or deployment of system enhancements or new systems.
- Ensuring that products adhere to quality standards.
- Coordinate with other managers for future improvements and/or systems enhancement.
- Closely working with teams (internal and external) to consolidate necessary documents
- Preparing and providing quality reports to management and customer on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis when required.
- Controlling documents including document management systems, documents and reports.
- Control internal & external audits
- Monitor, measure, and evaluate performance, skills, working attitude and completion of the assigned work of all employees in department.
- Timely handling nonconform actions in the company, and at the same time discussing with the Board of Directors to offer improving solutions and prevent recurrence of nonconform actions.
- Customer Quality handling management
- Monitoring the timely completion of corrective and preventive actions on NCRs, CARs.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Experience requirements
- More than 5 years of experience as Quality Manager.
- English fluency
- Knowledge about ISO 9001, ISO 14000.
- Knowledge of tools, methods and concepts of control and assurance quality.
- In-deep understanding of quality standards and quality management and monitoring processes.
- Ability to read and interpret all internal / external quality documents (records / manuals etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, detail oriented, with strong follow through
- Good presentation, communication skills.
- Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.) and Outlook
Education requirements
- Degree in Quality Management, Technical or related fields.
