Job summary

Adecco's client is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Quality Manager to lead the Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) functions of our food manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of food safety, regulatory compliance, and customer expectations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food safety systems, quality management, and cross-functional leadership.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the overall Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions across all production lines.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve food safety and quality systems (HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, BRC, etc.).
  • Ensure strict compliance with local and international food safety regulations and standards.
  • Manage internal and external audits and act as the key contact for regulatory authorities and certification bodies.
  • Define quality KPIs and implement performance monitoring systems to ensure product consistency and quality.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes to address quality issues.
  • Partner with Production, Supply Chain, R&D, and other departments to ensure product quality and process efficiency.
  • Train and develop the QA/QC team, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
  • Evaluate suppliers' quality systems and lead supplier audits and performance assessments.
  • Review customer complaints and implement proactive measures to improve customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure traceability and documentation systems are robust and audit-ready at all times.

Experience requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in QA/QC roles within food manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety systems (HACCP, GMP, ISO/FSSC 22000, BRC, etc.).
  • Strong experience with quality audits, regulatory compliance, and certification processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in quality tools and methodologies (e.g., RCA, CAPA, Six Sigma, SPC).
  • Fluent in English and Vietnamese (preferred, depending on location).

Education requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field (PhD preferred).
