Job summary
Our client is a leading manufacturing industry, looking for a Sales Manager.
Job Responsibilities
1. Identify and Acquire New Customers
- Explore potential business opportunities within the designated territory.
- Proactively seek out new clients and nurture strong business relationships.
- Prepare and submit reports on newly acquired customers.
2. Meet Sales Objectives
- Plan and execute daily tasks based on prioritized actions outlined in the sales strategy.
- Establish and sustain an efficient sales and distribution system, ensuring seamless operations and addressing any customer concerns regarding pricing, service, etc.
- Schedule customer visits and provide product recommendations to strengthen relationships.
3. Monitor and Manage Customer Debts
- Regularly track outstanding payments and follow up with customers to ensure timely settlements.
4. Ensure Timely Reporting
- Be responsible for the accurate and prompt submission of Customer Cards and Weekly Reports to the supervisor, suggesting necessary adjustments to meet business goals.
- Complete and submit all required sales reports, including daily and weekly reports, while addressing customer complaints proactively.
5. Foster and Maintain Strong Customer Relationships
- Cultivate and strengthen partnerships with clients to enhance the company’s reputation in the market.
6. Track Competitor Activities and Gather Market Insights
- Monitor competitor movements and collect feedback on IFV products to support strategic business decisions.
- Take the initiative in identifying and addressing market trends and challenges.
7. Collaborate Efficiently Across Departments
- Ensure clear, timely, and effective communication with internal teams and other departments to optimize costs and improve customer service.
8. Additional Responsibilities
- Assist in organizing and supporting sales events (e.g., Food and Hotel exhibitions).
- Execute sales promotion activities.
- Handle administrative tasks, including reviewing documents, contracts, quotations, tracking sales orders, monitoring debts, and coordinating product deliveries.
Experience requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales and distribution management, preferably in the food industry.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to efficiently handle multiple complex tasks at the same time.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Education requirements
- A Bachelor's or College degree in Business Administration or a related field (preferably with a major in Food Technology or Business Administration).
