Job summary

Adecco is currently seeking a motivated and target-driven Sales Specialist on behalf of our client in the optical products sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting sales strategies aimed at expanding market share and strengthening client relationships for a portfolio of ophthalmic lenses, vision testing systems (VTS), and related solutions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Present and promote the company’s products to optical stores and professionals in the industry.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets and KPIs as set by the National Sales Manager.
  • Support the execution of field sales activities, including store visits and product consultations.
  • Address customer needs, resolve issues promptly, and ensure effective after-sales support.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and successfully close sales deals.
  • Collect and report on market trends, customer insights, and competitive activity.
  • Understand client business models to tailor product recommendations accordingly.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and exhibitions.
  • Introduce new products, promotions, and updates to customers effectively.
  • Monitor personal sales performance and continuously work to exceed assigned targets.
  • Contribute to internal meetings and share successful sales practices with peers.
  • Coordinate with the finance team to support timely payment collections and maintain account health.
  • Ensure strong product visibility and merchandising within client locations to enhance brand presence.
  • Support marketing initiatives, campaigns, and account-specific promotions.
  • Perform additional tasks as required by the client’s management team.

Experience requirements

  • Experience in a sales role within the optical sector, or consumer health sector isan advantage.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Be able to communicate by English
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to achieving sales targets.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Willingness to travel for client visits and events as needed.

Education requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred.
