Sales Supervisor/ Manager – Freight Forwarding

Our client is an international third-party logistics business group which specializes in import, export and cross trade for air and sea freight forwarding with warehousing activity.
- Overall responsibility for the Sales and Business Development activities in Air/Ocean freight, Trucking, Customs Brokerage and value added service
- Generation of new business opportunities with own & existing customers.
- Liaise and co-ordinate with internal departments and the company’s network to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution.
- Monitor & coach the Sales team to expand their capabilities and build senior sales in the organization.
- Understanding of local business environment is priority.
- Developing partnerships with shipping companies, forwarders, overseas agents to obtain competitive prices, good services, cargoes to exchange and consign to enrich the source of customers and increase profits.
- Weekly and Monthly reports to the Management.
- Experience in Logistics & Supply Chains industry
- Preferably with local sales experience in Freight Forwarding (Air & Ocean)
- Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
- Having existing small to large profile customers on hand
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
- Possess strong hunter mentality, business sense and industry expertise
- Bachelor degree in Business Management, Major in Economic/Foreign Trade/Maritime or Engineering with subjects like logistics, port management and shipping.
