Senior Merchandiser

Job summary

Our client, an international company, is looking for Senior Merchandiser to manage its sourcing office in Ho Chi Minh city.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end merchandising cycle: product sampling, vendor sourcing, price negotiation, trade term review, and cost analysis.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier partnerships, proactively resolving any production or delivery issues.
• Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance to meet product standards and ensure timely shipment.
• Handle claims and coordinate issuance of debit/credit notes with complete supporting documentation.
• Analyze customer feedback and sales data to enhance product assortment and optimize presentation.
• Stay updated on market trends and identify new sourcing opportunities through research and supplier visits.
• Monitor the supply chain using the MBS Control Panel (internal ERP system) to anticipate and resolve disruptions.

Experience requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, International Business, or related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, and merchandising—preferably with exposure to the US/EU market.
• Strong product and production process knowledge for hard goods
• Experience in large multinational buying offices or manufacturers is a significant advantage.
• Fluent in both English and Vietnamese, written and spoken.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
