Job Responsibilities

• To translate the organization’s goals and objectives into departmental strategies and action plans.
• To ensure the organization’s goals and objectives are met and if otherwise, to formulate contingency plans.
• To delegate responsibility to the Specialists to successfully carry out such action plans.
• To monitor and verify the progress of such plans.
• To provide the communication link between the organization and the employees
• To communicate to the employees the organization’s directions, goals and objectives.
• To reinforce the Specialists in materials and production planning to meet customers’ requirement.
• To set up production schedules and ensure that production is running smoothly
• Identify bottlenecks in the flow and make contingency plans.
• To ensure full execution of action plan.
• To motivate the Specialists to lead the employees to achieve performance and quality targets.
• To identify areas for improvement and activate the relevant support groups such as engineering, materials planning, etc to implement the improvements.
• To identify and justify for new production equipment.
• To identify training needs for the Specialists and Technicians.
• To project manpower requirement and formulate recruitment plans for implementation to develop the next level.
• Abide by the company’s safety rules and regulations.
• Carry out duties in accordance with Quality Policy, EHS control procedures and WI’s
• Be aware of significant EHS risks, actual or potential of their work activities
• Report to superiors the EHS concerns, incident and accidents that arise
• Ensure that the requirements of EHS management system is implemented and maintained within the department.
• To ensure Customer Satisfaction in his and employees’ work.

Experience requirements

• Possesses 8 years of manufacturing experience in the assembly or related industries. (Diploma) or Possesses 5 years of manufacturing experience in the assembly or related industries. (Degree)
• Good problem-solving skills.
• High level of initiative.
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Self-Driven
• Result orientated
• Ability to reach out to all levels

Education requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Mechatronics or Engineering Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering
