Senior Supplier Quality Engineer

Job summary

Our client, an international home improvement company, is looking for a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to follow and manage the product qualification program.

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to design, review, and update product specifications and qualification programs.
• Ensure vendors, third-party testing agencies, and inspection teams fully understand and adhere to established quality procedures.
• Coordinate with various teams and stakeholders to ensure timely completion of tasks, aligning with project timelines, CPAs, and on-time delivery of shipments.
• Assess new products to ensure they meet regulatory standards, company guidelines, and customer expectations, while identifying critical quality attributes and design control limits for monitoring.
• Oversee QA responsibilities for new product development by working closely with cross-functional teams.
• Establish and monitor corrective actions and improvement plans, ensuring adherence to agreed timelines and objectives.

Experience requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in quality assurance, with expertise in furniture and other hard goods.
• Excellent communication and reporting abilities, with proficiency in both spoken and written English being essential.
• Strong skills in time management and project coordination.
• Proficient in computer applications and related tools.
• Educational background: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• Language requirement: Fluent in both spoken and written English.
