Service Engineer - Medical Device

Job summary

A leading manufacturing company is currently looking for a Service Engineer - Medical Device to be based in Hanoi

Job Responsibilities

• In charge of the hardware service and support business team for the Vietnam healthcare division, which includes patient warming and sterilizer sales to hospitals.
• In charge of assigned machine service duties, including installation, maintenance, estimating project installation costs, offering technical assistance, responding to client questions, fixing problems, and offering in-service training.
• Contact with customers via phone, email, and in-person visits.
• Maintain and make sure that test apparatus and tools are calibrated correctly.
• Inform the regional and international teams of the urgent service and quality concern.
• Regular operational service with a high level of customer satisfaction guaranteed by minimal device turnaround time, improved first time through, and management and evaluation of service capabilities through technical bulletins, training, standard operating procedures, and sharing of best practices.
• Develop in the designated area in order to align the service business, capability, and strategy with the regional and global service strategic plans.
• Participate as a part of the local team to supply services to all accounts in designated areas with efficiency

Experience requirements

• Strong familiarity with computer service software, electronics, and mechanics, as well as analytical abilities with record-keeping.
• At least three years of hardware and software service experience in the medical or related business is preferred for hiring.
• Needs a solid foundation in customer service, problem-solving techniques, and technological knowledge.
• Strong English communication abilities, both in writing and speaking.
• Microsoft Office proficiency (skilled in PowerPoint, Excel, and MS Team)
• Possess strong time management abilities, a positive disciplined attitude, the ability to persevere, critical thinking, a service mindset, the ability to motivate team members, and strong communication skills.

Education requirements

• Mechanical, electrical/electronic, biological, or allied fields for a bachelor's degree in engineering.
