Job Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement in QLTC (Quality, Lead Time, Cost) for mass production of SMD products.
• Ensure seamless handover of NPI projects and Engineering Changes (ECs) to volume production, meeting established QLTC process targets.
• Maintain and enhance engineering documentation for SMD components, including risk analysis, effort estimation, BOM updates, work instructions (WI), checklists, and process qualification programs.
• Collaborate with the workshop to optimize existing manufacturing processes, tooling, and documentation, improving efficiency, cost, delivery, and safety through LEAN, CPR, and CTR methodologies.
• Analyze production data to evaluate the effectiveness of quality improvement initiatives and provide technical support for troubleshooting.
• Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to implement in-process inspections, address issues, and develop RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) for customer complaints and in-process defects using PDCA methodology.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to assess new vendors and establish new facilities and processes.
• Develop and deliver training programs, covering technical topics and LEAN manufacturing principles for operational staff.
• Participate in EHS initiatives to enhance workplace safety.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by superiors.

Experience requirements

Sheet Metal Technical Background. Have over 5 years working experience in fabrication manufacturing job

Education requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or engineering technology from an accredited college or university with Mechanical or Welding Engineer Background
