Sourcing Lead

Job summary

A new job opportunity has just arisen in a global consumer electronics manufacturer based around Ho Chi Minh city.

Job Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers that meet company standards for quality, cost, and delivery
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers
• Monitor supplier performance and take corrective actions when needed
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies across assigned product categories
• Conduct market analysis and stay updated on industry trends and potential new suppliers
• Apply sourcing best practices to drive cost savings and improve efficiency
• Lead contract negotiations with suppliers, including pricing, terms, and conditions
• Manage contract renewals and amendments in line with company objectives
• Analyze cost structures and identify opportunities for cost reduction and value improvement
• Collaborate with product development, QA, and logistics teams for smooth supply chain operations
• Support new product launches by ensuring timely sourcing of materials and components

Experience requirements

• 5 years of experience in a sourcing or procurement executive role.
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficient in sourcing and procurement software, tools, and Microsoft Office
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and in a team

Education requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
