Sourcing Specialist

Job summary

Our client, an end-to-end supply chain solution provider, is looking for Sourcing Specialist based in Vietnam. This role is a critical role in the growth of our business in Southeast Asia (Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia).

Job Responsibilities

• Represent the company in Southeast Asia, providing support for offshore sourcing operations in the region.
• Expand and nurture our network of vendor partners in Southeast Asia, continuously building and strengthening relationships to raise brand awareness.
• Diversify our vendor partnerships by identifying and collaborating with vendors across various industries.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to both internal and external stakeholders regarding manufacturing in Southeast Asia.
• Verify and onboard new vendors to ensure alignment with company standards.
• Manage ongoing vendor relationships to maintain high standards and ensure long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.
• Oversee quality control and production processes to ensure timely and high-quality deliveries.

Experience requirements

• Minimum 7 years' experience sourcing in Southeast Asia for Food & Beverage/ Apparel / Shoes & Accessories / Consumer Electronics/ Softgoods
• Have a proven track record of working with different manufacturing suppliers / customers in Southeast Asia.
• Fluent in Vietnamese & English communication & written skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Confident in working independently and willing to travel frequently across the region.
