Supply Chain Manager (Retail Chain)

Adecco's client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead and strengthen their supply chain operations, supporting both online and offline retail channels. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring high service levels, efficient resource management, and seamless integration across planning, distribution, warehousing, and transport functions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive sustainable performance improvements, optimize operational processes, and support the company’s long-term growth plans. Job Responsibilities

• Lead and enhance the Supply Chain function to support both online and offline retail operations.
• Ensure all Supply Chain activities align with business plans, local regulations, Group policies, and customer requirements.
• Integrate commercial supply chain principles to deliver short- and long-term business solutions in collaboration with Trading, Operations, eCommerce, and Finance teams.
• Oversee daily operations to achieve high customer service levels, on-time-in-full deliveries, and resource efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement across Demand & Supply Planning, Distribution, Warehousing, and Transportation.
• Develop and update the functional strategic plan in line with evolving business needs and in collaboration with regional teams and supply chain partners.
• Monitor market trends and internal opportunities to enhance supply chain efficiency.
• Oversee operational reviews, set process standards, and ensure effective issue resolution.
• Manage logistics and inventory performance; analyze operational challenges and drive collaborative solutions with suppliers and vendors.
• Optimize stock turnover and minimize slow-moving inventory while maintaining high On Shelf Availability (OSA).
• Manage supply chain KPIs including OTIF (On Time In Full), order fill rate, waste reduction, SLA compliance, OPEX, CAPEX, and inventory days.
• Build a high-performing supply chain team with clear accountability and performance standards.
• Plan for future capacity needs in staffing, systems, and outsourced solutions.
• Lead the implementation and optimization of supply chain systems including WMS and other digital tools.
• Manage non-trade procurement and vendor performance.
• Oversee 3PL partnerships, ensuring warehouse efficiency in volume handling, storage, and service levels.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and maintain high ethical standards.

Experience requirements

• Background in Health & Beauty or FMCG sectors preferred.
• Solid understanding of supply chain principles, ERP systems, WMS, transportation software, and Lean practices.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and thrives in fast-paced environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cost-optimization skills.
• Effective leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Experienced in project management and operational execution.
• Knowledge of market dynamics, legal and regulatory compliance.
• Skilled at collaborating with regional teams and escalating issues when necessary.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other digital tools.
• Good command of English.

Education requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in supply chain and logistics, with a strong track record in service level improvement and operational efficiency.
