Job summary
Adecco's client - A leading internaltional company in plastic products manufacturing is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimize our supply chain operations in the plastic products manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will oversee end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory management, production planning, logistics, and distribution, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives to ensure operational excellence.
- Monitor supply chain performance using KPIs and identify areas for improvement.
Procurement and Vendor Management:
- Oversee procurement activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of raw materials and components.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms.
Inventory and Warehouse Management:
- Manage inventory levels to optimize costs while preventing stockouts and overstocking.
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure efficient storage and material handling practices.
Production and Logistics Coordination:
- Work closely with production teams to align material availability with production schedules.
- Oversee logistics operations, including transportation, distribution, and export/import activities, ensuring timely delivery.
Risk Management and Compliance:
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to minimize disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead and mentor the supply chain team, fostering professional development and a high-performance culture.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., production, sales, and finance teams) to align supply chain activities with organizational goals.
Experience requirements
- 5 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the plastics manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience with ERP systems and supply chain management tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive strategic decisions.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of lean supply chain principles and inventory optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with import/export regulations and logistics processes is a plus.
Education requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
