Warehouse Supervisor (Long Thanh)

Job summary

Adecco's client, a leader in heavy industries sector, is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and accuracy in the handling and storage of goods. This role involves managing staff, coordinating logistics, and maintaining inventory integrity to meet organizational goals.

Job Responsibilities

Staff Supervision:

• Lead, train, and evaluate warehouse personnel to maintain a productive and cohesive team.
• Assign tasks and monitor performance to ensure adherence to operational standards.

Inventory Management:

• Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring accurate inventory records.
• Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy.

Operational Coordination:

• Ensure timely and accurate processing of orders, including picking, packing, and shipping.
• Collaborate with other departments to synchronize warehouse activities with company objectives.

Safety and Compliance:

• Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.

Process Improvement:

• Identify opportunities to enhance warehouse operations and implement efficiency improvements.
• Utilize lean practices to streamline processes and reduce operational costs.

Experience requirements

Experience:

• Proven experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role.

Skills:

• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems and basic computer applications.
• Effective communication and problem-solving capabilities

Education requirements

An associate's or bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
