Job summary

Job Responsibilities

The Junior Business Analyst will play a key role in supporting financial operations by documenting and translating business requirements into system specifications. They will focus on system migration projects, including the ongoing transition from Tourplan to Microsoft Dynamics 365.

The role requires a strong understanding of finance processes in a destination management company, specifically in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Accounting, Journals, and General Ledger. As a permanent team member, the Junior Business Analyst will also support the continuous improvement and deployment of ERP and CRM systems, ensuring financial processes are aligned with business objectives.

• Act as a liaison between finance teams and technical teams, ensuring smooth communication and delivery. • Assist in gathering and documenting finance requirements for the system migration project.

• Work closely with senior analysts to ensure all finance needs are captured accurately.

• Understand and document Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Accounting, Journal, and General Ledger workflows. Junior Business Analyst (Accounting/Finance)

• Collaborate with teams to map these processes to the new system (Microsoft Dynamics 365).

• Analyze finance-related data to identify potential impacts of the migration.

• Support the generation of reports and insights that inform decision-making.

• Assist in developing training materials and guides for finance users.

• Provide first-level support during the initial stages of the system transition.

Experience requirements

• Having Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance.

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.

• Hands-on experience with ERP or CRM system deployment projects.

• Experience with finance processes in the tourism industry, especially within a destination management company (preferred).

• Strong understanding of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Accounting, Journal, and General Ledger processes. • Demonstrated ability to document business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and system migration projects.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of working across departments and with external vendors.

• Strong analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving and process improvement.
