Job Responsibilities

1.     Excellence Business Development

o  Explore business opportunities, particularly with Japanese customers in strategic segments of Process Fluids.(PFs)

§ Study the market and develop sales plans to approach strategic PFs customers.

§ Identify new opportunities and key accounts in targeted segments and develop strategies to achieve sales targets.

§ Develop a customer pipeline and identify Must-Win Projects to accelerate sales goals.

§ Understand and share knowledge of Japanese business practices, competition, customer landscape, and market trends.

§ Build strong relationships with Japanese customers and drive conversions in strategic segments.

§ Track sales performance and prepare periodic analysis reports (monthly, quarterly, yearly) for top management.

§ Use B2B and Sales Force Automation (SFA) systems to update reports, customer pipelines, and project statuses.

§ Develop distributors aligned with company strategies.

§ Outcomes:

§ Market analysis and business plan development.

§ Operating plan, customer pipeline, and MW projects list.

§ Improved win-rate process and SFA utilization.

§ Comprehensive sales tracking (in-out and inventory level, if applicable).

2.     Excellence Sales Operation

o  Ensure sales process compliance and efficiency improvement with a result-oriented and customer-focused mindset.

§ Complete sales operations for customer and channel development, aligning customer demands with company’s offerings.

§ Ensure all sales and company policies are implemented, proposing solutions to overcome barriers to achieve sales targets.

§ Collaborate with other departments (e.g., customer service, technical service) to deliver competitive value through products and services.

§ Develop integrated sales processes (pre-sales, during sales, and after-sales) to enhance customer experience and coordinate execution across departments.

§ Improve forecast accuracy and resolve escalated customer issues promptly to maintain relationships and profitability.

§ Outcomes:

§ Achieved sales KPIs (deliveries).

§ Enhanced internal and external customer experiences.

§ Improved winning rate (# of converted customers).

§ Increased forecast accuracy (FCA).

§ Resolved customer complaints effectively.

3.     Sales Capability Development

o  Foster self-improvement and contribute to business efficiency.

§ Analyze gaps in sales organization and capability, and develop improvement plans with training programs.

§ Support Sales Head in delivering training plans on time.

§ Review cost efficiency with the team and work with management on product development, pricing, and marketing programs.

§ Outcomes:

§ Improved team capabilities through training programs.

§ Enhanced business operations through cost efficiency.

Experience requirements

Qualifications:

·       Experience in B2B Sales, particularly in PFs products.

·       Proficiency in Japanese (speaking and writing).

·       Strong English communication skills.

·       Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Metalworking Engineering or related fields.

Experience:

·       Minimum 10 years of sales experience in metalworking business development.

·       Proven experience with Japanese customers and strong relationships with top Japanese management to enhance credibility and reputation.

·       Ability to understand product specifications and demonstrate a solution-oriented mindset.

·       Proven capability in driving sales strategies from planning to performance.

·       Experience working with internal and external teams to improve business efficiency.

·       Ability to handle customer complaints at a technical level.

Personal Characteristics and Behaviors:

·       Strong written and spoken skills in English

·       Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Office for planning and presentations.

·       Business growth mindset with a focus on win-win solutions.

Education requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
