Job summary

Job Responsibilities

1. Quality Control Operations

  • Supervise daily QC operations, including sampling, testing, and inspection of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products.
  • Monitor production lines to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Identify and resolve quality issues in real time to minimize production downtime.

2. Documentation and Compliance

  • Maintain accurate records of QC activities, including test results, non-conformances, and corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international quality standards (e.g., ISO, HACCP, GMP).
  • Prepare and present quality reports to management.

3. Team Management

  • Train, coach, and supervise the QC team to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.
  • Assign and manage workloads to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback for continuous improvement.

4. Process Improvement

  • Analyze quality data and trends to identify areas for improvement.
  • Recommend and implement changes to processes and procedures to enhance product quality.
  • Collaborate with the production and R&D teams to resolve quality issues and improve formulations.

5. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)

  • Promote and enforce safety protocols within the QC team.
  • Ensure all QC activities are conducted in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.


Experience requirements

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance standards and testing methods (e.g., ISO, HACCP, GMP).
  • Proficiency in using laboratory testing equipment and software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities.

Education requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Experience in the beverage or food manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
