Job summary

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and Implement Lean Processes: Develop and implement lean manufacturing practices to enhance production efficiency and operational performance.
  • Lean Tools Expertise: Utilize tools like Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, 5S, and Six Sigma to identify and eliminate waste in processes.
  • Process Analysis: Conduct thorough evaluations of current workflows to pinpoint inefficiencies and propose improvements.
  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Create and maintain SOPs to support lean manufacturing operations.
  • Training & Development: Provide training and mentorship to production staff on lean principles and tools.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with teams across departments to identify opportunities for process optimization and ensure seamless implementation.
  • Compliance: Ensure all process improvement initiatives adhere to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Analyze data to evaluate the impact of lean initiatives and recommend further enhancements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Keep updated with advancements in lean manufacturing methodologies and recommend changes to optimize processes.

Experience requirements

  • Experience: Proven track record in process engineering, with a strong focus on lean manufacturing principles.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in lean tools like Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, 5S, and Six Sigma (Green Belt certification or higher preferred).
    • Competence in process simulation software, data analysis tools, and CAD applications.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams effectively.
    • A continuous improvement mindset and a willingness to adopt new methodologies and technologies.
  • Others: Ability to identify and address waste in processes, ensuring optimal efficiency across operations.

Education requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
