Job summary

Job Responsibilities

  • Map the access environment and define pathways for successful entry.
  • Develop and execute internal and external partnerships to support funding, reimbursement, access, pricing, and negotiations, incorporating strategies like guidelines and innovative financing models to prepare for new product launches.
  • Create a roadmap for seasonal product reimbursement planning.
  • Collaborate with local and regional cross-functional teams to develop go-to-market strategies and ensure access to reimbursement and tender segments for new launches.
  • Identify potential NGOs/CSAs, craft effective approaches, and generate local demand based on the company’s portfolio.
  • Build partnerships or collaborations with NGOs/CSAs on relevant projects.
  • Ensure the development and implementation of pricing, reimbursement, and access strategies for new products while maintaining and optimizing tender, reimbursement, and funding strategies for existing products.
  • Establish key strategic partnerships with KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders), societies, policymakers, payers, and other stakeholders to facilitate market access and shape the market environment in Vietnam.
  • Monitor and influence policies related to access, reimbursement, pricing, and tenders.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align priorities and resources in support of business objectives across all portfolios.
  • Lead the training and development of the organization to enhance capabilities in market access, payer strategies, and policy shaping.

Experience requirements

  • A minimum of three (3) years of industry and policy experience is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, networking, influencing, and relationship-building skills are essential for success in this role. A proven ability to identify policy trends affecting the industry and develop and drive policy solutions is required. Proactivity, passion, and self-motivation are key traits.
  • The ability to interpret scientific evidence and understand its implications for patient value and the healthcare system at the local level.
  • A solid understanding of the local healthcare landscape, listing and reimbursement processes, and the decision-making criteria of health authorities for effective engagement.
  • Proven experience in successfully securing listing and reimbursement for innovative medicines at the national level.
  • Proficiency in both oral and written English is required.
  • Expertise in project management and implementation.
  • A collaborative, team-oriented approach to work is essential.

Education requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree is required, with a preference for a Graduate degree in relevant fields such as medicine, health policy, economics, management, or similar areas.
