Job summary

Job Responsibilities

• Develop the structure and strategic direction of the portfolio and associated events
• Create and administer event and portfolio budgets.
• Identify and manage relationships with industry partners, associations and agencies.
• Lead project teams and ensure targeted P&L forecasts are met
• Manage and develop relationships with key accounts and stakeholders
• Responsibility for sales targeting and result tracking/performance
• Overseeing and liaising with event operation partners and contractors
• Coordinating with teams and departments across the global trade fair network
• Identify new potential sectors and growth strategies for the portfolio
• Creation and oversight of marketing and product development plans
• Accurate and timely reporting of the events and performance to Singapore office

Experience requirements

• 10+ years in the international exhibition/event industry
• 5+ years of experience managing multi-national teams
• Demonstrable experience of launching and growing shows in ASEAN region – e.g. Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines Malaysia and Indonesia
• Familiarity with a matrix style project co-ordination
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
• Commercial flair with the ability to innovate.
• Proactive and ambitious in nature
• Experienced networker with high level contacts
• Proven financial and budgetary responsibility
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and observe tight deadlines.
• Analytical, detail-minded and efficient in handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Familiar with Microsoft office
