Job summary

Our client is a leading brand in children’s footwear is hiring a potential candidate for the Product Development and Merchandising Manager role.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end product development process in Vietnam, ensure that products meet quality, cost, and timeline expectations.
  • Manage PD Team nationwide, working closely with vendors, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to drive efficiency, product innovation, and on-time deliveries.
  • Be responsible for bulk material quality control, vendor performance monitoring, and ensuring smooth production Supervise the creation and maintenance of Tech Packs, including BOMs, material specifications, and construction guidelines.
  • Oversee the sample development process (fit samples, PP samples, and TOP samples) to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Ensure product development timelines stay on track and address delays proactively.
  • Collaborate with the US headquarters to align on product designs, material, and functionality expectation
  • Act as the primary liaison between Product Development, Sourcing, Technical Design, and Production teams.
  • Align with the US headquarters on development priorities, technical requirements, and production schedules.

Experience requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in product development or technical design for relevant product portfolio, including min 3 years of leadership experience.
  • In-depth understanding of materials, construction techniques, manufacturing processes, and compliance standards.
  • Strong proficiency in creating and interpreting Tech Packs, BOMs, and specifications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Able to undertake frequent domestic travel within Vietnam for operational needs.
