Job summary

Adecco's client - a big company in electronics product manufacturing is looking for a Senior Manager, EE & Motor design role to join its R&D center around Ho Chi Minh city.

Job Responsibilities

  • This role requires expertise in motor design, and product development with a strong focus on efficiency, reliability, and manufacturability. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and optimize design processes.
  • Lead the design, development, and optimization of electric motors
  • Oversee electrical engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company goals.
  • Develop and implement design methodologies to improve performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless product integration.
  • Manage prototype development, testing, and validation of motor designs.
  • Identify and resolve technical challenges, ensuring high-quality product performance.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies in electrical engineering and motor systems.
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing engineering team.

Experience requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in motor design,
  • Proven experience leading motor design teams within an electronics manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electromagnetic design, power electronics, and control systems.
  • Proficiency in motor simulation tools (ANSYS, MATLAB, etc.) and circuit design software.
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance and industry standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving, project management, and leadership skills.
  • Experience in consumer electronics, automotive, or industrial motor applications.

Education requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
